The solutions of a linear homogeneous recurrence relation with unit coefficients

Abstract

In this paper, three expressions of solutions of linear homogeneous recurrence relations with unit coefficients

$$ x_n=x_{n-1}+x_{n-2}+\cdots+x_{n-(k-1)}+x_{n-k},\quad \forall n\ge k, k\ge 3$$

are derived.
