Cohomology of finite abelian $p$-groups and free actions

Abstract

The generators of the integral cohomology ring $H^*(G, {\Bbb Z})$ of a finite abelian $p$-group $G$ have been constructed and an application to free action of a finite group on a product of spheres $(S^n)^k$ has been given.
